As co-founder and Managing Partner at Strong Tower Wealth Management, a wealth advisory firm in Minneapolis, MN. Troy is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Economics.

After graduation, Troy launched his career at Miller Johnson & Khuen in Minneapolis, where he became the lead trading liaison for the online platform Stockwalk.com. That eventually led to a fifteen-year career at Morgan Stanley where he held positions as Vice President, Corporate Retirement Director and Senior Investment Management Consultant. It was in this capacity where he earned the trust of individuals, business owners and corporate investment committees. Troy continued his pursuit of higher education and professionalism earning industry certifications such as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM designation and Minneapolis 5 Star Wealth Manager* in 2014-2017 and 2019-2022. Troy’s top priority is to be a trusted advisor, helping clients design and execute a strategic wealth plan from beginning to end.

Having grown up in central Minnesota, Troy developed a deep love for the outdoors and Minnesota lakes. During the summer, friends and family often find him and his loved ones at their cabin in Brainerd, MN. Economic empowerment, the environment, and education are important causes that Troy enjoys supporting.

As co-founder and Managing Partner at Strong Tower Wealth Management and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM professional, Greg has been partnering with and serving as a trusted advisor to higher-net-worth individuals, families and business owners for more than 30 years. Greg has experience as a Senior Vice President with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Wealth Management and Senior Vice President of Private Client Services at Wells Fargo.

Greg works with clients to design and execute what he refers to as the “Ideal Wealth Plan.” This holistic strategy includes the integration of cash flow, portfolio management, tax planning, risk management and wealth transfer planning. He encourages clients to have vision and to design a plan worth living for – creating a living legacy, where they connect their values and convictions to the people and charities they care about most.

Wendy brings over a decade of accounting, financial planning, and portfolio management experience. She earned her B.A. in Finance and Economics from Buena Vista University. We were impressed with Wendy’s level of experience in working directly with clients. She has experience with all of our planning technology including eMoney, Black Diamond, and Riskalyze. Wendy and her husband Jeremy live in Roseville, MN with their 2 children, Liam and Nora. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, watching baseball, and spending time with their friends and family.

Braeden graduated from the University of Kansas in 2022 with a degree in Finance, Rock Chalk! He has been with us for 3 years now and helps oversee operational projects, assist with portfolio management, and keep up with compliance tasks — there's always something new to tackle, which he enjoys.

He currently lives in Crosslake, Minnesota with his wife, Lindsay. Braeden is very passionate about living an active lifestyle. His favorite hobbies include golfing, weightlifting, fishing, and basketball — pretty much anything that keeps him moving and outdoors!

Logan joined Strong Tower Wealth Management after graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a degree in Business Finance and a certificate in Business Communication. He is eager to begin studying for the CFP® certificate and series exams.

Logan was the president of the UW - Eau Claire Personal Finance Club where he helped students understand the importance of financial literacy and saving for retirement. In addition, he served as a junior and senior analyst on the Student Managed Investment Fund, where the team managed nearly $400,000 in U.S. equities for the University’s foundation.

In his free time, Logan enjoys hiking at national parks, hunting, and more recently picked up running and completed his first marathon in April 2023 with plans to participate in more races in the future. He also volunteers his time to mentor underserved youth through Mentor Chippewa and Power of Perception.

Lori has a BS in Accounting and comes to us with a background in construction and commercial real estate.  Lori enjoys crunching the numbers and is always looking for the best way to streamline spending, cut expenses and/or raise income.  She has recently moved to Pine River, MN, to be closer to her 3 boys and grandchild, whose arrival is eagerly awaited in April 2025.  Lori enjoys spending time with her kids, dogs and pet cow, and hopes to add some horses, donkeys and/or goats to her herd soon.

William joined Strong Tower Wealth Management following graduation from The University of St. Thomas with a degree in Financial Management and a certificate in Financial Planning and Wealth Management. He is enthusiastic about beginning his studies for the series exams and CFP® certificate. William is passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals while providing excellent service and nurturing lasting client relationships. Outside of his professional work, William enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending summer weekends up north on the lake.

Nick Michel joined Strong Tower Wealth with a commitment to helping clients fortify their financial futures. With a strong foundation in leadership, analytics, and client-focused service, he leverages his Master’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in Global Business from Saint John’s University to guide individuals, families, and business owners toward their financial goals.

As a former hockey player at the U of M, Nick understands what it takes to perform at a high level. Balancing a demanding athletic schedule with rigorous academics instilled in him the discipline, resilience, and strategic thinking he now applies to wealth management. He knows that long-term financial success—like success on the ice—requires preparation, adaptability, and a clear game plan.
